MATCH REPORT
Well for the first match of a new decade, it’s up there with one of the best results of the last decade.

Against the league leaders, a side we have lost against in the three previous games we have played them since promotion to the Southern League, go one nil down, have a man sent off and play with ten men for over an hour, and then (deservedly) WIN! Wow!

Corby started well and looked the class act they clearly are but they didn’t score until Coleshill had worked their way back into the game and the goal came against the run of play. Within a minute George Washbourne saw Red with a silly challenge but the referees decision was swayed by the whole of the Corby team in his face. Undeterred Coleshill equalised two minutes later when the keeper fumbled a cross and Nehemiah Zazi was on hand to slot into an empty net. From that point on it was a Master Class of how to defend! Corby ran out of ideas as they could not find a way past the solid wall of Town players. Then on the hour mark Josh Webb took a corner and Gio Dainty planted the perfect header in to the top corner! Get in!

Coleshill are quickly back in action at Pack Meadow on Monday night in a rest from the league, a JW Hunt Cup game against Darleston. This is the last cup the Colemen are still in so still a chance of silverware come the end of the season.

COLESHILL HERALD WROTE
Coleshill Stun Leaders Corby To Boost Hopes

Ten-Man Coleshill stunned league leaders Corby as they came from behind to win and boost their own play-off hopes. Corby started well but it was only when Coleshill stepped things up that the visitors took the lead through Jordan Crawford. Things got worse for Coleshill as influential George Washbourne was sent off. However, undeterred, Coleshill stunned their lofty rivals as they equalised two minutes later through Nehemia Zazi. From that point on, Coleshill defended superbly and Corby ran out of ideas. Coleshill then won the clash on the hour mark as Josh Webb took a corner and Gio Dainty planted the perfect header into the top corner. It's a massive win for us," said boss Cameron Stuart. "To come from behind, with 10 men was a fantastic effort. To be fair, with 10 men, I thought we were really outstanding. Our defending was brilliant and our shape was really good. We actually created a lot more chances than them. They didn't create much despite having a lot of possession. Paul Hathaway didn't have anything to do really and what he has had to face, he's dealt with it comfortably. We got ahead and could even have got another one - I am proud of the lads in terms of their effort. It was one of the best performances I have had as a manager here at Coleshill. Corby remain top with a five point lead over second placed Berkhamstead. Coleshill are seventh, six points behind fifth placed Aylesbury with a game in hand.

NON LEAGUE PAPER WROTE
Colemen Stun The Leaders

Ten-Man Coleshill secured a brilliant win over league leaders Corby. Corby took the lead after a quick break by Ryan Robbins down the right, as his cross found the unmarked Jordan Crawford who finished neatly. Within a minute, George Washbourne was sent off for a tackle that angered Corby. Undeterred, Coleshill hit back and a 29th minute cross by Gio Dainty saw Corby keeper Alastair Worby drop the ball to Nehemia Zazi, who stroked into an empty net. The winner came on 59 minutes when Josh Webb's corner was headed into the top corner by Dainty. Corby had their chances - Robbins skied an effort and Charlie Wise headed a corner over - but Coleshill were defensively brilliant.

Bet Victor Southern League Wrote
Leaders lose to ten men Coleshill Town

Corby Town lost for the third time this season to date on Saturday and with Berkhamsted winning, the Steelmen`s lead at the top of the BetVictor Southern League Division One Central table is now five points.
Corby was beaten 2-1 at a now seventh-placed Coleshill Town side who had drawn their previous two matches. What will frustrate the Steelmen, even more, is the fact that they played against ten-men for all-bar the opening 24 minutes. The visitors had taken a 23rd-minute lead through Jordon Crawford. But within a minute, a reckless challenge from George Washbourne saw Coleman`s midfielder dismissed. But on the half-hour mark, Nehemia Zazi equalised and the ten-men went ahead on the hour-mark through Gio Dainty and held the visitors at bay for a crucial win.
