NON LEAGUE PAPER WROTE
Coleshill Town kept up their bid for a late play-Off push with a 2-1 win over Sutton Coldfield Town- leapfrogging their opponents in the process. Reece Leek pokes home when reacting quicker to a Josh Webb ball, to put Coleshill ahead, but Sutton came into the contest and levelled from the penalty spot. Home keeper Paul Hathaway clattered a Sutton player when going up to punch the ball, and Ryan Nesbitt tucked home from 12 yards. Coleshill bagged the points when Leek turned provider, finding Joe Halsall who bundled home at the back post to secure an invaluable three points.

SUNDAY MERCURY WROTE
Joe Halsall bagged Coleshill’s 65th minute winner in controversial fashion. A hopeful back flick by Halsall appeared to have been cleared but the assistant referee signalled it was a goal. Coleshill had led in the fourth minute after some poor defending allowed Reece Leek to sneak in and score. Sutton levelled on 32 minutes after a push floored a Royals attacker following a corner and Ryan Nisbett made no mistake from the penalty spot. The last 15 minutes of the first half were all Sutton and they deserved to go level.

MATCH REPORT
Coleshill scored with just three minutes on the clock when Reece Leek got on to a long ball into the box from Josh Webb and then was quicker to the ball than the keeper and touched into the net. Coleshill were dominant at this early stage but Sutton came more into the game as the half wore on. From a very long throw in home keeper Paul Hathaway punched the ball up in the air and when he went to punch out again he clatted a Sutton player and the referee pointed to the spot. Ryan Nesbitt scored. Nesbitt and Piggon were combining well and causing the home side problems. Jordan Nadat had a couple of shots, Liam Molesworth hit a rasping shot just wide of the post and a Reece Leek cross zipped across the six yard box just in front of Jordan Nadat.

The second half was very even, two well matched sides. Liam Molesworth had a bending shot go just wide before Coleshill took the lead on 65 minutes. A cross field ball from Joe Smith found Reece Leek wide right who put a great cross in across the keeper and captain Joe Halsall came in at the far post to bundled the ball home. A quick break by Amarvir Sandu fed Jordan Nadat whose left foot shot was saved by keeper Lewis Gwilliams and the rebound came quickly to Sandu who shot wide. Jon Letford had a shot saved at the foot of the post and James Mutton had a header saved by home keeper Paul Hathaway. Another Reece Leek run and cross was touched on by Jordan Nadat but his effort was cleared off the line.

A very close game against two sides pushing for a play off place with Coleshill Town just coming out on top.
