THE NON-LEAGUE PAPER WROTE
Bedford and Coleshill fought out a 1-1 draw at the Eyrie in a match that courted controversy at the end as both sides finished with ten men. The visitors took the lead in the third minute when Jordan Nadat took advantage with a shot from 20 yards that caught Niall Cooper off his line. Despite the possession Bedford had their final ball was lacking until Connor Furlong tricked his way down the left and found Jermaine Osei, who curled the ball past Paul Hathaway on 58 minutes. The game finished in controversy in stoppage time, though, when Brett Longden for Bedford and Liam Molesworth for Coleshill were given their marching orders after a melee.

SUNDAY MERCURY WROTE
NOTHING! Sunday Mercury will no longer do reports for some Level 4 teams, which includes Coleshill Town, and anything below. Sign of the times but they have just celebrated 100 years which has always included local sport and now they do this! So disappointed!

MATCH REPORT
A bruising encounter ended with two red cards in the final minute when Liam Molesworth was dismissed for a late challenge and Brett Longden
retaliated. Coleshill had taken the lead on 3 minutes with a cracking solo goal by Jordan Nadat from the corner of the box a left foot shot sailed over keeper Niall Cooper and into the net. A Bedford bombardment followed. Jermaine Osei missed a great chance from 6 yards, Ben Ford fired a vicious shot over the bar and the Colemen’s keeper Paul Hathaway made a great save from a volley from Paul Benson. Connor Doyle hit the side
netting but Coleshill were feeding on scraps.

It was backs to the wall for Coleshill but they were holding firm until the 57 minute when Connor Furlong made ground down the left passed to Osei
who bent a shot into the far corner from the corner of the box. It was all Bedford, Callum Donnelly shot inches wide and a Furlong cross/shot
went just passed the far post. Guy Clark had a shot tipped over the bar by Cooper before it all kicked off in the dying seconds.
