SUNDAY MERCURY WROTE
Coleshill stretched their unbeaten run to five games. An excellent strike from Joe Smith opened the scoring on 38 minutes, his fierce low drive from 25 yards ending up in the back of the net. The visitors continued to have the better of the play but had to wait until midway through the second half before doubling their advantage. This time Smith was the provider with a delightful chipped cross that picked out Nick Seabourne at the far post who headed into the net. Josh Pinn put a loose ball over the line ten minutes from time for the hosts’ consolation.

THE NON LEAGUE PAPER WROTE
Coleshill beat North Leigh 2-1 in Oxfordshire. Joe Smith and Nick Seabourne scored either side of half time before Josh Pinn netted for North Leigh to set up a tense ending.

MATCH REPORT
Coleshill stretched their unbeaten run to five games with a hard fought win in Oxfordshire.

A very close game between two hard working sides Town just about edged the first half and took the lead when Captain for the day Joe Smith scored on 37 minutes with a fine shot from the edge of the box.

The Colemen were kicking down the substantial slope in the second half but North Leigh had the upper hand. On 64 minutes fine work from Liam Molesworth and Joe Smith saw Nick Seabourne head home from 6 yards out. The home side pulled a goal back on 75 minutes with a superb strike after a period of pressure but Coleshill held on for their 6th win of the season and are now up to 7th in the table. Amarvir Sandu and Joel McFarlane made their debuts and looked as though they will prove to be useful additions to the squad.

Coleshill are back to Pack Meadow next Saturday against Didcot Town.
