SUNDAY MERCURY WROTE
A brilliant first half helped Coleshill return to winning ways. Town stormed into a three nil lead and never looked back as they picked up their first league victory in five attempts. The visitors were ahead after just 13 minutes through Connor Doyle's finish and doubled their lead eight minutes later when George Washbourne rounded off a swift counter attack. Things got even better for the visitors on 29 minutes when Guy Clark powered in a header to extend their lead and leave Dunstable with a mountain to climb. The hosts fought hard after the break but Town were resolute in defence. Chances remained few and far between as Town secured a victory which moves them up to eighth in the league table.

THE NON-LEAGUE PAPER WROTE
AFC Dunstable succumbed to 15 minutes of madness as they fell to a comprehensive defeat at the hands of Coleshill Town. The rainy conditions helped Coleshill take the lead as Jamie Head slipped on the wet surface and allowed the visitors' Connor Doyle to score on 11 minutes. Five minutes later, a reeling Dunstable found themselves 2-0 down as a flowing move was brilliantly finished off by Guy Clark (George Washbourne). Coleshill took full advantage and with 17 minutes of the first period still to play, George Washbourne (Guy Clark) put the game to bed with the away's side's third of the afternoon. From there, Coleshill cruised to all three points.
STAR MAN: Guy Clark.

A View From The Other Side
A Match Report taken from AFC Dunstable Facebook page

AFC went into the game against Coleshill Town hoping to put together a run of wins in the league. With their opponents just below them in the league, hopes were high of a positive result.
On a horrible wet and dank afternoon, it was the conditions that were not AFC’s friend when a chested back pass by Danny May, saw Jamie Head in the AFC goal, lose his footing on the slippery surface and gifted Connor Doyle a simple tap in on 11 minutes.
Nine minutes later it was 2-0, when Coleshill broke with pace from their own penalty box and Guy Clark finished off a very good move.
AFC thought they could reduce the arrears, as they had a couple of attempts at goal that came to nothing. Then from a free kick on 26 minutes, George Washbourne outjumped Kyle Ajayi at the far post to make it 3.
So effectively the game seemed to be over before the half hour mark.
AFC did up the tempo in the 2nd half, which saw them have most of the ball but just could not penetrate the visitors defence. When they did Paul Hathaway pulled off a couple of decent stops to keep the hosts at bay.
