INJURIES SET POSER FOR COLESHILL
Another Win But Four Need Treatment

On a heavy pitch the game was evenly fought with Cinderford's lowly position in the league not doing them justice. Coleshill put on all the early pressure but had to wait until the 20th minute for a goal. The ball was played by Dave Moore on the right to Steve Polack who headed on to Roy Ashman to net with a left foot volley into the corner of the net from ten yards out. Coleshill should have capitalised on this goal in the 30th minute when Nez Kelly should have rounded the keeper to score but opted to shoot from outside the box and his shot went wide of the post. Steve Polack twisted his knee towards the interval and was a virtual passenger for the remainder of the half. The second half went much the same as the first with Coleshill putting on all the pressure but failing in front of goal. Steve Polack did not come out for the second half and substitute Tim Clarke was brought on. Now, Coleshill face a mounting injury crisis with four players needing treatment. Dave Moore broke two toes during the game but managed to complete the match. The other casualties are centre half Mick Duddy with a pulled calf muscle, Steve Polack twisted knee, and Lamin Kontey back injury.
