SOLIHULL NEWS WROTE
Gate Go Down Again

In another disappointing game, United's poor run continued with defeat at the hands of a workmanlike but unskillful Coleshill Town. Highgate made the worst possible start when they conceded a needless goal after just two minutes. D'Arcy received the ball at his feet with the goal at his mercy and made no mistake from 10 yards. After this setback play evened out but the Gate were unable to create the chances they needed to get back into the game. Following several close efforts as the Gate began to dominate play, they were given the chance to equalise when Howlins needlessly fouled Summerhill, and the striker obliged from the penalty spot after 42 minutes. Coleshill scored the winner only a minute into the second half when former United midfielder Nicholas took advantage of some slack marking to give his side the lead again.
