SPORTS ARGUS WROTE
Coleshill had the ball in the net after 15 minutes but a linesman ruled a player offside. From a free kick 20 yards out, outside left Williamson's shot was touched over the bar for a corner. From the resulting corner by Williamson, Polack headed inches over. On the stroke of half time, a long through ball from Dyer to Williamson made the visiting keeper come well off his line to collect. After doing all the attacking in the first half, Coleshill were unlucky not to have gone in at half time winning.

SUNDAY MERCURY WROTE
The home side finally got the reward they deserved in the 65th minute when Polack climbed to head home a Williamson corner. The keeper managed to get his hands to the ball but couldn't stop it rolling over the line.

A Midland Combination outfit celebrating good news in recent weeks is Coleshill Town, with Manager Colin Holder back in harness at the club. Holder withdrew his resignation after a major board meeting brought the guarantee of meeting the financial committment promised to the manager during the close season. The move came only days before Holder's month of notice was up although he had always stated that he did not want to leave the club. "All the players who were owed money have been paid, the bonus agreement has been reintroduced and the budget I was promised has been given to me. At last the club appears to be looking in the right direction." said Holder. A new signing at Coleshill is Phil Judge from Solihull Borough. Ex team mate Tim Walker is another player being tailed by Holder and seven days notice of approach has also been served on former Coleshill player Brad Russell at Highgate.
