MATCH REPORT
By Craig Hamilton

On the back of three defeats Coleshill were desperate to get back to winning ways but got off to the worst possible start by going a goal down after just 4 minutes. Lye made ground down the right, a cross to the near post was headed on and Sam Tye headed into the net at the far post. Rowe had a chance to increase the lead which would have been a disaster but he shot wide and Coleshill equalised straight after on 14 minutes. Reece Leek beat the keeper to a through ball from Matt Gardner to toe-poke into the net. Coleshill were now getting into their stride and a Ryan Edmunds cross along the 6 yard line was just a head of Matt Gardner. Home keeper Paul Hathaway saved a free kick from 20 yards but on 21 minutes Coleshill edged in front. Reece Leek quickly seized on a defensive mistake and his quality cross left Matt Gardner with the easy task of shooting home. Chilton sent a left foot shot wide of the Town post and a Ryan Edmunds volley from 30 yards wasn't too far away as the half finished Coleshill 2 Lye 1.

Paul Hathaway saved well from Hague and visiting keeper Turner saved from Matt Gardner as he volleyed a Joe Smith cross. Hathaway parried a powerful Rowe shot out for a corner as Coleshill looked nervous and Lye were having their best period. Coleshill were thankful to keeper Paul Hathaway, who was making his 250th appearance, who prevented Lye from equalising on several occasions. The Colemen pulled themselves together and had chance after chance but the final ball was lacking until the 83rd minute when Reece Leek got free of the defence and saw his shot hit the net despite keeper Turner getting a hand to the effort. With the pressure off Liam Molesworth had a shot saved at the near post and Ryan Edmunds' shot went just past the far post.
