REPORT
St Andrews first ever visit to Pack Meadow ended in a 5-1 defeat but after being blown away in a first half that Coleshill scored four times, a young and talented Saints side dictated the play in the second half and were stunned that they lost the game to such a high margin. In their first year at this level they are doing really well and Coleshill knew they were a good side as they lost the reverse fixture 2-1 back in September.
An early goal helped to settle Coleshill down as a shot from Rob Evans was parried by the Saints keeper Butlin only for Mykel Beckley to force the rebound home on 6 minutes. Butlin was in for a busy evening but on the whole he stood up well to the task. Dean Rathbone saw a left foot shot pushed out for a corner and the resulting Tom Weale shot was heading in but was deflected for another corner. Andrews hit back when Brennan got into the box but home keeper Paul Hathaway saved his powerful shot. Butlin saved from Corey Currithers then did even better to save a header from Beckley at the foot of the post. Puttnum's shot deflected for a corner and Jesse Race cleared Morgan's shot. Coleshill doubled the lead on 21 minutes when Dean Rathbone sent Currithers clear and his clever pull back found Rob Evans whose powerful shot found the back of the net. A Hollis free kick was cleared off the Town line then Butlin saved a Tom Weale free kick. On the half hour a Tom Weale corner came out to Mykel Beckley and his left foot shot rocketed into the net for 3-0. Hathaway saved from Brennan on two occasions in an end to end game with Coleshill giving a lesson in finishing and the four goal haul was complete on 45 minutes when after a great run by Beckley to the bye line, his cross was met at the far post by Rathbone for a tap-in.

St Andrews keep ball second half was really impressive but with a four goal margin Coleshill were happy for the visitors to have the majority of possession. The Saints pulled a goal back on 65 minutes when a Hurst free kick was met by the head of the unchallenged Brennan and he found the corner of the net. On 69 minutes Butlin made his best save of the night as he tipped a rasping shot from Rathbone over the bar but when the resulting corner came in from Tom Weale, Butlin let himself down by dropping an easy catch into the net. Stats will show it was a Weale goal but in reality it was an own goal. It could have been worse for the visitors as Mykel Beckley skipped past both defender and keeper but his weak shot was cleared off the line by the last man. Brennan's shot only just went wide of the top corner, then Brennan came sliding in at the far post to get to a cross by Tansley but again his effort went just wide. Hodkinson cut inside but saw his left foot shot well saved by Hathaway as St Andrews finished on top but the points had long gone.
