Struggling Hinckley had their backs to the wall as early as the ninth minute when Burroughs put Coleshill ahead, snapping up a rebound. Although goalkeeper Wylly made several good saves for Hinckley the visiting team failed to benefit. They also suffered a set-back when singer had to be taken to hospital with a knee injury. Coleshill added their second goal when Burroughs was on hand to score his own second.
