SUNDAY MERCURY WROTE
The game came to life in the 12th minute when following a goalmouth scramble Spence slotted home from close range to put Chelmsley ahead. Within a minute they went further in front when Gormley's corner was flicked on by Ford to Dean on the far post. In the second half Coleshill took the game to Chelmsley and pulled one back when keeper Singh misjudged a looping header. Within four minutes Chelmsley restored their two goal lead when Gormley slung in a low cross and Ford rounded the keeper to score. On the hour Chelmsley failed to clear a cross and a looping shot found the top corner.
