Team: Darren Baker, Bradleigh Lee, Carl Griggs, D. Smith, Colin Cooke, Paul Wilson, Jimmy Stafford, Eamon Murphy, Dean Meyrick, Jonathan Johnson, Marcus McDonald. Subs Trevor Brown, ? Reely. (Confirmed)

SPORTS ARGUS WROTE
Bolehall started the half with the majority of forward play until a breakthrough from Stafford gave Meyrick the opening scoring chance, well taken. This turned the game round with shots for Coleshill coming from Johnson and Murphy. Bolehall had a chance to equalise in the last 15 minutes of the first half with two shots from Simmons, one being intercepted and held by Baker, the other going just over the cross bar.
Half Time Coleshill 1 v 0 Bolhall.

SUNDAY MERCURY WROTE
Bolehall recovered from conceding an early goal with a second half equaliser. Meyrick finished with style to fire Coleshill ahead with a well taken strike. They might have stretched their lead when Johnson and Murphy had sights of goal but missed the target and then McDonalds' effort was well saved by Taylor. Bolehall responded positively after the break and they equalised from a corner intercepted by Brown. In a frantic last five minutes both sides went close, although the clearest chance fell to Coleshill's McDonald with a surging 40 yard run through Bolehall's defence but his shot was just wide.

COLESHILL HERALD WROTE
If Only This Was The Start

Bolehall, who are currently the in-form side, are having a wonderful end of season run, having won five and drawn two of their last seven games. This draw against Coleshill was all the more pleasing in that Swifts had played the previous evening beating Atherstone Reserves 4-0 in the Ernie Brown Memorial Cup; Coleshill were due to play Tamworth Reserves in the same competition but cried off, leaving them nice and fresh for the Swifts encounter. That freshness showed in the first half as Coleshill over-ran the Swifts, forcing them to defend in numbers, but as half time approached Swifts started to make their mark; then taking the game to their opponents for long periods in the second half, and at the end came very close to grabbing all three points. Bolehall made the early running, with Carl Haynes screwing a Dave Wassall pass wide, then Duane Mellors hit a tremendous 30 yard drive just over the top. Coleshill took the lead after eight minutes with McDonald making tracks up the left flank, he pushed the ball back to the edge of the area where Mayrick hit it first time, the keeper looked to have the shot covered but the ball took a thick deflection on it's way into the net. On 74 minutes Bolehall got a deserved equaliser - the Coleshill keeper had saved well from Rob Pratt, pushing the ball behind for a corner. Troy Porter sent the resulting kick to the far post where centre half Paul Brown rose to head home. Soon afterwards Pratt saw a volley fly past the post, but try as they did, Swifts just couldn't get that elusive decider, the keeper denying Porter, Wassall and Simmons in their efforts. A very tired Bolehall side can feel well satisfied with this point after playing four games in seven days.
