SPORTS ARGUS WROTE
After 13 minutes the visitors deservedly took the lead when defender Steve Whipps was given too much room and scored superbly in the top right hand corner. Kings Heath equalised after 30 minutes through Sean Lawless.
Half Time Kings Heath 1 v 1 Coleshill.

SUNDAY MERCURY WROTE
Happy Return As Mark Strikes

Striker Mark Cartwright returned from holiday to add punch to an injury hit Kings Heath who battled back from a goal down, took the lead but were pegged back for a draw. Coleshill, playing the more fluent football, deservedly took the lead when defender Whipps was given too much room and calmly shot into the top right hand corner. Kings fought back and after a great run by Sol Hancox, equalised when the ball ran loose for Sean Lawless to drive home. They kept up the pressure and went ahead in the second half after a Mark Pygott header was tipped on to the bar and Cartwright followed up to head the rebound home. Two minutes later Town were back on level terms when Johnson headed home.
