Match Report
By Craig Hamilton

Coleshill played possibly their best 45 minutes of the season just over three weeks ago at Wulfrunians and were 4-0 up at the break! A look at the league table would suggest a repeat of that scoreline was unlikely as Wulfs lie one place below Town, with just two points separating the sides! This was a much tighter affair and with twenty minutes to go, a 0-0 was the most likely outcome.
Although the first half was played at a frantic pace with both sides trying to play football on the floor, few goalscoring opportunities arose! Tom Weale had a shot from 18 yards, home keeper Paul Hathaway, playing his 150th game for Coleshill, palmed a shot over the bar and a Josh Quaynor free kick bent round the wall but was an easy save for visiting keeper Moreton.
The second half became very scrappy with a series of silly fouls being given away by both sides, not helped by a referee who looked out of his depth, which all resulted in the game never getting fully going! Neither side deserved to score but on 67 minutes a poor clearance by Hathaway was sent quickly back into the box for the running Jamie King who anticipated the challenge from the keeper and went to ground early! The Referee pointed to the spot and King converted the kick himself! Manager Paul Casey made a double substitution with the returning Luke Barlone replacing Shane Benjamin, and Simeon Cobourne on for Tom Weale. The move changed the game and the pair linked up for the equaliser on 76 minutes when Barlone headed on for the running Cobourne and the young striker finished with aplomb from just inside the box. The duo almost repeated the act but this time Cobourne's shot went just wide of the post. On 89 minutes Josh Quaynor hit the bar from a free kick just outside the box but this was just a sighter as Coleshill were awarded another free kick in a very similar position in the 94th minute, although it was the Assistant Referee who gave the call, and this time Quaynor made no mistake finding the net for the winner!
