Monday 6th April 2015
Midland Football League Premier
Kirby Muxloe 5 v 0 Coleshill Town
Scorers: Ryan Seal 4, Tom McGlinchey.
Attendance: 52.
Opposition Player Of The Match: Ryan Seal (Kirby) Tom Weale (Coleshill)

Teams:
Kirby: Daniel Agar, Pradeep Bahrey, Wade Ball, Warren Butlin, Adam Hohn, Aaron Love, Elliott Pacey, Michael Reeve, Ryan Seal, Jacob Matthew Sturgess, David Wesseldine. Subs: Tyler Love, Tom McGlinchey, Nathaniel Mcintosh, Daniel Sheahan.

Coleshill: Chris Jay, Rob Evans, Craig Milligan, Danny Douglas, Lukes Edwards, Danny Tymon, Mykel Beckley, Tom Weale, Shane Benjamin, Deqwon Ebanks, Dean Rathbone. Subs used: Oliver Casey, Simeon Cobourne, Ryan Nash. Subs not used: Jacob Wright, Chris Hughes.

This was by far Coleshill heaviest defeat of the season! Town have only lost eight league games this year and six of them have been by a single goal! Only Lye, in August, and Stourport Swifts, in November, have recorded wins more than just the one, both of which were 2-0! The last time Town lost by five clear goals was January 5th 2013 Away to Tipton Town, but we are a completely different team now which makes the result so much more unbelievable!

The Coleshill Herald Wrote
Coleshill suffered a 5-0 thumping at Kirby Muxloe, a result which all but ended their hopes of winning the Midland Premier title.

The second-placed Colemen now trail leaders Basford by 12 points although they do have two games in hand.

"It was disappointing against Kirby Muxloe but I am not going to hammer my lads," said Casey. "We tried something different with the formation. I changed things around a bit and it didn't work.

"To be fair, Kirby are a good side and they beat Basford 3-0 the other week as well.

"Four of the five goals they scored were as good as you will see.

"Ryan Seal scored four goals for them and two are contenders for goal of the season.

"We huffed and puffed but it was a tough day for us."

He added: "The squad is getting a bit stretched now.

"We were missing Will Worthington, Rickie Cutting, Jacob Wright and Leon Weller and now we could be without Danny Tymon for the rest of the season too.
