Monday 26th August 2013
Midland Alliance
Boldmere St Michaels 1 v 0 Coleshill Town
Scorer: Lee Osborne.
Attendance:102

Team: Paul Hathaway, Leon Weller, Dominic Reece, Luke Edwards, Jack Hullin, Barry Fitzharris, Chris Lloyd, Danny Tymon (Chris Cowley), Jordan Archer, Declan Kirby (Jon Powis), Connor Leek (Jack Allen). Subs not used Dan Dineen, Paul Goonan.

This was a fairly even game especially for the first twenty minutes where both teams tried to get the measure of each other but slowly Coleshill got themselves on top with Connor Leek and Jordan Archer causing problems for the Boldmere defence and bringing smart saves from the Boldmere keeper, Coleshill were now winning the midfield battle and seemed to have plenty of options to create chances. Against the run of play Boldmere on one of their rare attacks scored after Coleshill seemed to lose concentration, this took the wind out of Coleshill for a while as they tried to get their game back on track.

The second half was dominated by Coleshill who were unable to score the vital goal that would of opened the floodgates despite Jack Hullin shooting against the cross bar, Conner Leek hitting the post, Jake Murrall having a goal bound header superbly saved by the Boldmere keeper and the same player having a certain goal cleared off the line by former Coleman Lewis Gorle it was just not meant to be and at the death it took a superb save from Paul Hathaway to save Coleshills blushes
