LLOYD WITH THE WINNER AGAIN
Chris Lloyd was the hero for the second game running as he scored the only goal of the game but this was a team effort and not just down to one man. When you are so near the relegation zone you need a team of battlers and that is exactly what manager Paul Casey has managed to put together. This win lifts them out of the bottom three but the job is not over but with 14 games remaining Coleshill have give themselves a fighting chance. The back four looks solid and keeper Paul Hathaway was in unbeatable form last night. Chris Gummery has made an immediate impact with not only his hold up play but his will to win attitude. Chris Lloyd is on fire at the moment and the returning Rob Freeman will add some steel to the midfield if he can remain fit and yellow card free!
Heather looked well clear of the fight at the bottom but with back to back defeats to Coleshill and Heath Hayes, they are back amongst a pack of up to ten teams who could still go down. Their team was mainly made up of ex Coleshill and Castle Vale players and they fought Town all the way.
Coleshill took the lead when a long kick out from Hathaway was controlled first time by Lloyd taking two defenders out of the game and the striker come winger went past a further two players before shooting into the net. St John should have been level within a minute as Hathaway made a great save from the visiting centre forward. Heather started to take control and had they had their shooting boots on Coleshill would have been in trouble but a combination of bad finishing and a keeper who refused to be beaten kept a vital clean sheet.
Rob Freeman came on to shore up the midfield and so the second half was more even with an end to end, very entertaining game. Hathaway was called upon several times, once bravely diving at a forwards feet, but Coleshill had chances also. A great move involving Lloyd, Gummery then Cameron Jones, ended with a volley from Lloyd that only just went past the post. Heather pressed and Coleshill defended deeper and deeper but they held on for a priceless three points. Three clean sheets, seven points from three games, the fight is on!

COLESHILL HERALD WROTE
LLOYD ON TARGET AS COLESHILL WIN AGAIN
CHRIS Lloyd was the hero for the second game running as he capped a fine team performance with the only goal of the game on Tuesday night.

The win lifted Paul Casey's men out of the bottom three as Coleshill gave themselves a real fighting chance of survival with 14 games to go.

Coleshill took the lead when a long kick out from Paul Hathaway was controlled first time by Lloyd, who beat two defenders before firing home.

The visitors should have been level within a minute as Hathaway made a great save from a visiting centre forward.

Heather started to take control but were unable to find the net before half-time.

Rob Freeman came on to shore up the Coleshill midfield after the break.

The second half was proved end-to-end with Hathaway was called upon several times.

At the other end, Coleshill also threatened and a great move involving Lloyd, Chris Gummery and Cameron Jones ended with the former volleying just past the post.

Heather pressed late on and Coleshill defended deeper and deeper but they held on for a priceless three points.

Casey's men have now kept three straight clean sheets with seven points from a possible nine.
