COLESHILL HERALD WROTE
Carter proves Unstoppable As Coleshill Unlock Strugglers
Coleshill completed a comfortable double over bottom club Willenhall as they eased to a 4-1 victory on Saturday. The result was never really in doubt after the home side had taken a 14th minute lead. Liam Flynn had already made two good saves and Jemiah Richards blocked a shot on the line before Carl Adams' men scored. Flynn denied Chris Lloyd only to see Danny Carter follow up to score in an unguarded net. Jan Trapszo did go close twice for the visitors before setting up Adam Swain, but again the shot was off target. Flynn denied Carter twice more before Nathan Bean hit the post as Coleshill created the better chances. Carter extended the lead on 52 minutes, taking advantage of a defensive mix-up before Flynn continued his fine game with another double save to keep the score down. On 68 minutes, The Lockmen did reduce the arrears when a quickly taken free kick was worked to Leon Weller and the winger netted his first for the club with a fierce drive. However, Coleshill restored their two goal advantage when Carter grabbed his hat-trick two minutes later as he was allowed a free run on goal from a suspiciously looking offside position before he easily beat Flynn. The scoring was completed in the fourth minute of injury time when Richard Gregory netted with a close range effort on his Coleshill debut after his recent move from Willenhall. Coleshill boss Adams said "Willenhall were quite poor on the day but we playedvery well and score could have been more but for their keeper, who had a great game. Sometimes you come off the pitch and exaggerate and say it could have been 9-0 or 10-0 but it really could have been on Saturday."
