Anstey Nomads 1 v 2 Coleshill Town
Scorers: Ben Porter, Adam Kinder.
Report by Paula Scott

Coleshill started on fire with the first attack of the game from Ben Porter giving the away side a one nil advantage inside the first three minutes.

Steffano Arnonandi, Ryan Scott and Adam Kinder all penetrated the goal mouth with shots just going wide or skimming the bar.

First blow came for Coleshill after 15 mins when Jon Powis needed to leave the field after a hamstring injury, Dan Ebbutt replaced him and had an instant impact on the game with several near chances.

Second injury blow came just a few minutes before half time when Ryan Scott was forced to be substituted after a groin injury that prevented him from continuing. Lee Millard replaced him and produced some excellent tackles after being introduced into the game.

The remaining players re-adjusted and were on top of the game until half time where the score remained 0-1 to Coleshill.

Second half saw the final injury blow for Coleshill when Steffano Arnonandi was forced to be substituted with a back injury, Tez Carpenter saw his opportunity to impress and entered the game at a fast pace and distributing some outstanding cross's towards Dan Ebbutt and Adam Kinder.

Rob Freeman was a constant threat on goal and the Anstey Nomads keeper was called into action several times. It was Adam Kinder that secured the second goal after some great solo play from Ebbutt.

Coleshill looked comfortable and in control of the game when Anstey took advantage of a mis kick out from keeper Jamie Atkins that fell to their striker who netted the goal neatly to put them back in the game for the next 15 mins.

Nomads were reduced to 10 men after a harsh tackle on Adam Kinder that also required treatment from physio Joe Perkins before he could retake his place.

Coleshill's defence worked hard as a unit, Stuart Hamilton, Jason Lanns and Lee Millard held solid preventing a second goal.

Last minutes of the game Coleshill were the stronger side and completed their place in the next round of the Vase.

Team: (Not Confirmed) Craig Johnson, Stuart Hamilton, Jason Lanns, Ryan Scott (Lee Millard), Ben Porter, Steffano Aronaldi (Terry Carpenter), Jon Powis (Dan Ebbutt), Rob Freeman, Carl Adams, Jamie Atkins, Adam Kinder.
