Bloxwich Town also won, putting six past Coleshill Town. Tony Ecclestone and Pat Hall grabbed two goals each and Jim Skidmore and Andy Ratcliffe also chipped in. A Jimmy Stafford penalty was the only reply from Coleshill.

SOLIHULL NEWS WROTE
Knowle North Star and Coleshill Town fought out a tight goalless draw in the Midland Combination Premier Division fixture. There were plenty of scoring chances but they all went begging with John Taylor the main culprit. In the second period, Coleshill came into the game but with no result.

SUNDAY MERCURY WROTE

Knowle again showed the improved form which gave them their first win in the week and held neighbours Coleshill to a goalless draw.

Next week Coleshill were away to Hurley Daw Mill mid week then visit Solihull Borough on the saturday.


We will start to take a look at the 1960/61 and 1910/11 seasons next week as Town start their season at home to Allens Cross, and away to Minworth respectively. Information that far back is hard to come by but we will try our best!
