SUNDAY MERCURY WROTE
An equalising goal 15 minutes from time from Stratford captain Abbey Kelly saved Stratford's blushes against bottom of the table Coleshill Town. Defences dominated the opening period but Kelly almost scored after 15 minutes when his 25 yard drive rebounded from the underside of the bar back into play. Coleshill took the lead on the hour when Melvin scored direct from a free kick and Stratford finally equalised after 75 minutes when Kelly supplied the finishing touch following a goal mouth scramble.
