Defensive Errors Let Down Coleshill
Things are still going wrong for Coleshill. They have now played five Midland Combination First Division games and are still searching for their first point. At home to high scoring Moors in mid-week Coleshill were hit by two goals in the eighth and 11th minutes. Ironically, Coleshill were on the attack when Moors took the lead with a speedy breakaway goal scored by Clamp and before the homesters could recover, Ingram netted from a corner. While Coleshill did even up exchanges before half time, they found Moors defence in resolute mood. Ingram made it 3-0 to Moors early in the second half and Coleshill were subjected to heavy pressure. Coleshill’s one bright moment came in the 80th minute when Steve Whipps scored with a great half volley following a cross from McIntosh. Moor Green immediately hit back with a similar type of goal from Ingram.
