Rugby are entrenched in the relegation zone after Sam Tye scored the only goal at Packington Lane. Tye's 56th minute strike came after Coleshill had edged the first half, with Dan Summerfield acrobatically clearing Harry Craven's header off the line and Paul Hathaway pulling off an excellent point blank stop to deny Alex McSkeane. After the interval Ben Usher-Shipway pounced on his misplaced pass to slip the ball onto Tye to tuck home. Tyrese Warmington's diving save kept out Chris Clement's well struck free kick to keep the hosts ahead, but then McSkeane really should have doubled the lead after another error.
