MATCH REPORT
What a strange game! Coleshill were superb in the first half and could have been two or three up, but it all went wrong in the second half as Hinckley ran out deserved winners in the end.
Coleshill were virtually at full strength but Amarvir Sandhu missed out competing against his former team with a hamstring injury. The rain stopped just about spot on kick off but the ball was skimming off the wet surface made for an entertaining game as both sides went for it.
Coleshill looked confident and played some of the best football seen this season. Liam Molesworth, playing his 150th game for Coleshill, had a run and shot that just went past the far post, a Taylor Byrne header from a corner was cleared off the line but it was the home side that had the best chance in the opening minutes when a headed flick on by Reeves saw Read nip in between the two central defenders but he was denied the opening goal by a fine save from Paul Hathaway. Coleshill started to dominate and deservedly took the lead when a high ball was misjudged by Humphreys and Kai Tonge took advantage by making strides towards goal and hit a hard low shot across keeper Highland and into the corner of the net. It could and should have got better with several chances for the visitors but on the stroke of half time Hinckley showed their threat when Burrows got down the right and his cross was headed home by Reeves, however the linesmen indicated the ball had crossed the bye line and a goal kick was awarded.

The second half was turned on it's head as it was the home teams turn to dominate. From the off they were up for it and Coleshill's pass and move system disappeared. Brennan, who had been lucky to be on the pitch after an off the ball foul in the first half, ran with the ball into the 18 yard box and went down under pressure from two defenders. Read scored from the spot. The new pattern of play continued for the whole second half as the home side took the lead on 56 minutes when from a corner Town keeper Paul Hathaway punched the ball into his own net. Kai Tonge saw a shot from 22 yards go not too far over the bar but Hinckley made it 3-1 when a free kick from keeper Highland was miss judged by Josh Willis and Jones nipped in behind the defence and shot across goal into the far corner. Niall Rowe's header was pushed over the bar by Highland before Hinckley made it Four when Jones headed on a long ball to Williams who brushed aside his marker and shot home from the edge of the box on the stroke of Full Time.
A second half to forget, and quickly as top of the league Halesowen visit Pack Meadow this Saturday.
