These two sides have come across each other a few times and they are always tough encounters, and this game was no different. Sporting hit the post with a header from Matt Fulloway before Coleshill took the lead on 36 minutes when Isia Marsilla flicked on for Kai Tonge who flicked the ball past the visiting keeper Samuel Arnold. Khalsa we’re back on level terms when Luke Yates’ quick feet gave him a yard of space and his thru ball found Gurjit Singh who slid the ball under Town keeper Paul Hathaway on 43 minutes.
Sporting started the second half the better side but as the half progressed Coleshill had chances to win it as Arnold saved a Liam Molesworth effort and Alex Tomkinson’s goal bound effort was deflected for a corner. The game deserved to be a draw but two substitutes combined for the winner on 88 minutes. A cross by James McGrady found Sean Williams at the far post and his first time shot went back across goal and into the far corner.
