Ilkeston maintained top spot with another home win at the New Manor Ground. After a cagey opening half hour, Ilkeston struck twice in three minutes to take control. First, a corner from the left was headed home by skipper Kieran Fenton, then Charlie Wakefield did superbly down the right before chipping across for Montel Gibson to nod in from close range. Three minutes before half time came a third, as Fenton struck from 25 yards with a free kick which went in off the wall. Coleshill found another gear in the second half and pulled back goals through Kai Tonge and Joe Phillips, but Ilkeston held on to claim another crucial three points.
