THE NON LEAGUE PAPER WROTE
It proved a very hard fought point for both sides in what was Coleshill’s first draw of the season. The first half was easily forgettable as neither keeper had much to do. Shepshed controlled the play and defended very well but when it came to the final third quality was lacking. Coleshill upped their game after the break and Fraser Doyle came closest to scoring but his effort hit the post. In a sweeping move involving Mel Melbourne and Jack Rogers, Reece Morris was presented with a clear sight of goal but his wayward effort sailed over the bar. Late on Kai Tonge almost got free on goal for the hosts but was cynically fouled by Shaquille O’Neill-Brooks who was shown a Red Card.
