MATCH REPORT
This is the first time these two sides have ever met. On a cold, wet and windy day the football warmed the crowd with a very entertaining first half. Coleshill were in the ascendancy long before they scored on 21 minutes. Amarvir Sandhu was causing havoc down the left side and his run, past several defenders, took him into the box and his left foot shot across the keeper found the far corner. Coleshill doubled their lead on the half hour when another great run and cross by Amarvir Sandu left Liam Molesworth with a tap in. Soham has to make two early substitutions in the first half, one of which was Sam Mulready going off with a dislocated shoulder. The second half was no where near as entertaining but much more even as Soham tested home keeper Paul Hathaway a couple of times, the experienced keeper keeping a clean sheet. The only goal of the half came from Coleshill on 81 minutes when a Joe Phillips thru ball found Liam Molesworth in the box but he was stopped with a fine tackle, the ball fell kindly for Amarvir Sandu who bent the ball into the net with his rarely used right foot.
